Hopeful news from St. Genevieve’s – the school is open and over 400 students are receiving education and a hot lunch! Despite the dire situation in Haiti, the strength and faith of Fr. Gaby, the principal and teachers and parents is a testament to the presence of good amidst the violence. And we know our funds are secure and are reaching Fr. Gaby safely.
In this season of thanks – we sincerely thank everyone for their continued spiritual and financial support for our Sister Parish parishioners.
Sad news close to home, we mourn the passing of our beloved committee member, Joe Cirasuolo, Co-Chair of our Haiti Advocacy committee. He leaves behind a large and strong national group, which he helped form and led, that will continue to advocate for solutions to end the violence and arms trafficking in Haiti.
