Dear Parishioners and Friends,
I am delighted to share with you this photo of Pamela Morrison-Wolf, this year’s recipient from the parish of St. Patrick-St. Anthony of the St. Joseph Medal of Appreciation, taken after the ceremony at St. Joseph Cathedral last Sunday, March 16th. Fr. John Leonard and I joined several dozen priests as Archbishop Coyne presented medals to 101 men and women from 75 parishes in the Archdiocese of Hartford.

The medal is given every year to members of the Archdiocese, nominated by every parish, in recognition of their contributions to their parish by volunteering their time and talents in many meaningful ways. We nominated Pamela for her years of dedicated service as a Lector at weekend and weekday Masses, Pastoral Care Outreach Minister of the Eucharist to the homebound, Spiritual Di- rector, Catechist for multiple units of Servant Leadership formation’s year-long courses, Care Minister assisting bereaved families at the time of a funeral, and Adult Faith Formation facilitator. We are most grateful for Pamela’s very generous and multifaceted ministry for our faith community and we congratulate her on this honor.
Past honorees have included Marybeth Walsh, Americo Pace, Robert and Maryanne Midura, Sal and Karen Randazzo, Susan Ahearn, Marion Kingsbury, Jack and Helen Martins, Roberta Horton, Chris- tian Heiden, Kim Nardone, Dan and Peg Lareau, Jack and Martha Murtaugh. Congratulations and thanks to all our medal honorees, and for all that you have done (and continue to do) for our parish!
Blessings on your week ahead!
Fr. Tim Shreenan, O.F.M.
