We regret to announce that our parish’s director of maintenance, Orville Russell, died on Sunday, July 9, after a brief illness.
Orville, who was 65 at the time of his death, had worked for St. Patrick-St. Anthony Church since March of 2000. Prior to that, he was employed by Newfield Construction, Inc. the firm which built the Franciscan Center for Urban Ministry. Shortly after the completion of the new building, Orville was hired to oversee its upkeep and maintenance.
We will certainly miss his cheerful personality and commitment to our parish, but we trust that he is at peace with the Lord in the kingdom of the Father.
Please read the family’s obituary at Carmon Community Funeral Home’s website.
