Build Community While Building a House

As part of our efforts to provide affordable housing and Interfaith dialogue in the Greater Hartford area, the Franciscan Center is proud to partner with Muslim, Jewish and other Christian communities of faith in the construction of a Habitat Home. On Sunday October 16th from 8am-3pm, we will join one of these communities in working on the home.
Come join Fr. Mike if you have wonderful carpentry skills… if you don’t, but have enthusiasm and a willingness to learn, there are skilled folks there to guide you. It’s a wonderful opportunity to build community, while building a home.
