Committee for Social Justice: Golden Rule Sail Boat

The Committee for Social Justice would like to invite you to participate in the visit of the Golden Rule sail boat on June 6 and 7, 2023. 

The Golden Rule

The Golden Rule is a project of Veterans For Peace. They aim to advance Veterans For Peace opposition to nuclear weapons and war, and to do so in a dramatic fashion. They have recovered and restored the original peace ship, the Golden Rule, that set sail in 1958 to stop nuclear weapons tests in the Marshall Islands. 

The Golden Rule will be docking in Hartford. You can see it and participate in the events surrounding its visit. 

There will be a pot luck dinner on June 6, and a silent peace vigil on June 7.  Please go to http://hopeoutloud.org/ for an up to the minute list of the activities for Hartford, and for other cities in Connecticut.
