Clare Gallery’s 20th Anniversary Celebration

September 30, 2023 @ 4:00 pm 7:30 pm

Clare Gallery 20 year logo

The Clare Gallery has been promoting the arts and hosting exhibits that educate and inform all who enter our facility for twenty years! To celebrate this momentous milestone, we will curate the 20th Anniversary Exhibition celebrating twenty of our past artists. We have chosen them from our three themes emphasizing world religions, interfaith themes and social justice themes, either on a global or local level.

Along with our exhibition, to mark this special occasion, we are planning a 20th Year Anniversary Evening of Celebration on Saturday, September 30, from 4–7:30 pm.

The celebration includes:

*Mass at 4 pm
*At 5 pm, Steve Balkun, master woodcarver, will discuss the statues of Saints Clare and Francis he created for the St. Patrick – St. Anthony Church sanctuary—watch this video to understand his process for this project.
*At 6 pm, you can enjoy an appetizer, a glass of wine, and a musical concert by members of our parish music ministry led by Director of Music Ministries, Dr. Gabriel Löfvall.

There will also be a raffle of small works curated from the many artists that have graced our walls.

This celebration event is a major fundraiser for the Clare Gallery. All funds raised will support this ministry for many years. We appreciate your participation and generosity.

REGISTER FOR TICKETS to this wonderful celebration on Saturday, September 30, from 4–7:30 pm. Tickets are $20, as a suggested donation, per person.

If you cannot attend the evening celebration, but would like to support the Clare Gallery we are grateful for a donation in any amount. Checks can be made payable to “Franciscan Center for Urban Ministry” and note “Clare Gallery” in the Memo. Please mail to 285 Church Street, Hartford, CT 06103, Attn. Pat Curtis.
