Centering Yoga

November 23 @ 9:00 am – 10:00 am

Parishioner Michael Leahy (YTT 200) or Jess Wawzyniecki will lead a free yoga class on the second and fourth Saturdays each month from 9-10 am in Rooms 9 & 10 on the lower level of the Franciscan Center for Urban Ministry. All levels of experience and ability are welcome! 

Yoga this year will be taught by Jess Wawzyniecki in addition to Mike Leahy. Jess completed her Yoga Teacher Training at West Hartford Yoga in 2024 and has been practicing yoga for nearly 20 years. She finds yoga to be a source of strength and grounding, especially during busy and challenging times. Jess is the proud mom of Benjamin (12) and Maggie (11), who were both baptized at SPSA. She currently teaches STEM to students in grades 1-4 at Renbrook School, where she fosters curiosity and a sense of wonder in her classroom. Jess is excited to share her passion for yoga with the SPSA community, offering an all-levels class that integrates prayer, meditation, and mindful movement.
