Another great collaboration took place in the fall of 2018. We hosted an exhibition of art and poetry / images and words. We approached international artist, Amy Hannum, to ask if she would like to exhibit her Spiderweb Series alongside newly created poems. She agreed and partnered with many poets from the Connecticut Poetry Society.
The poets included in the exhibition are: Joe Adomavicia, Eileen Albrizio, Steve Balkun, Tarringo T. Basile-Vaughan, Joanie DiMartino, Brent Terry, and Rhonda Ward.
Amy Hannum partnered with poets before, specifically with the Spiderweb Series. The Gallery felt this series speaks to the temporality of life, its vulnerability, and sometimes its beautiful invisibility.
