The natural world inspires Cadrain to create. Quoting Tolstoy she states, “Love all creation…love every leaf.” In every piece of work she constructs there are details to be uncovered. Beautiful stitching, textural fabric, delicious pattern, vibrant color—you love every inch of her creations. Furthermore, when stepping back to take in the whole piece, you discover the abstracted concept—paths and journeys—each work has a path of some kind within its compositional space.
