Dear St. Patrick St. Anthony Parishioners,

That is the number of individual hot lunches that have been given to St. Genevieve school students over the past 20 years. Amazing but true.
During the morning of every school day in Zoranje a small group of women work in a small cinder block building to cook large pots of rice and beans, with an added protein, for the lunch. The school knows that well-fed students will be more attentive and better able to learn. For many students this is the main meal or perhaps the only meal of the day. All of this has happened because of the generosity of the parishioners of St. Patrick – St. Anthony church.
Your continued support has helped the thousands of children who have attended school over the past 2 decades. We will never know the full effect of that help. Our Lord does. He fed 5,000 people as an example for us. In our own way we have tried to follow his command to feed the hungry.
The students and teachers of St. Genevieve, Fr. Gaby, and the members of our Sister Parish Committee are grateful for your support. Thank you. Mesi anpil! God bless you. Bondyè beni nou.

We invite everyone, adults and students, to consider what your generosity can do:
– $6.00 pays for one student’s lunch for one month
– $72.00 pays for one student’s lunch for one year
– $39.00 pays one cook for one month
