Blessing of the Animals

Calling all pets and animals you love! Bring your live or stuffed animals to the Metro Center Plaza (next to the parking lot, across from the Franciscan Center) to receive a blessing in the tradition of St. Francis.
All animals, including your pets and your favorite stuffed animals are welcome!

Father Tim says there’s nothing worse than the smell of a wet dog 🐕 🐶 🐩 … and the weather forecast for tomorrow morning during our Blessing of Animals shows a good chance of rain. ☔️ But don’t worry… we have a new location so all of our 4 legged furry friends (and their owners) can stay dry.
We still hope you can join us for the Blessing of Animals at 9:00 am… we decided to move this event under cover so we can all stay dry… meet us in the garage at the back of the Franciscan Center!
Just park in the parking lot and walk down the driveway and you and all your pets and stuffed animals will stay warm and dry for their blessing.
